welcome to the Teepee Village Aboriginal Camp Sites

These teepee replicas are designed to simulate the ones used by our ancestors. Staying at the teepee village will give you the feel of authentic aboriginal living.

Similar structures have been used along the Shekak River for over 7,000 years. They were easily assembled and dismantled, and were the ideal portable habitation for an always wandering people. The teepees provided good protection from the elements.

Our teepees are 24 feet in diameter and have a 6 person capacity.
